Commercial AC

Built for business.

Restaurants, offices, shops and light-commercial buildings need more than a standard home system. We install and service commercial equipment, sized to the building’s real load so it cools evenly and doesn’t waste power.

Mini splits for every budget

Real air conditioning, within reach.

Not everyone can replace a whole system at once. We understand what a Laredo summer feels like when proper cooling is out of reach, and a mini split is often the way to get it without the cost and mess of new ductwork.

Mini split installation

Start with one room

Cool the bedroom or living room you actually use, and keep the rest of the bill down.

Add rooms over time

Multi-zone systems let you grow your cooling as your budget allows.

No ductwork needed

A ductless system skips the cost and disruption of running new ducts through the house.

Preventive maintenance

A tune-up now beats a breakdown in July.

Laredo summers don’t forgive a neglected system. A seasonal tune-up finds weak parts, cleans what’s clogging performance and keeps your AC running efficiently when it matters most.

  • Coil & condensate drain cleaning
  • Refrigerant level & pressure check
  • Capacitor & electrical testing
  • Airflow, filter & thermostat check

Questions

Laredo AC, answered.

Don’t see yours? Call or send a request and we’ll help.

Why is my AC blowing warm air?

Common causes are a thermostat set wrong, a dirty filter or coil, low refrigerant from a leak, a failed capacitor or fan motor, or a frozen evaporator coil. Turn the system off if the air stays warm and call us. Running it can make some problems worse.

Why is my AC freezing up?

Ice on the coil or lines usually means restricted airflow (a clogged filter, blocked vents or a failing blower) or low refrigerant. Turn the AC off and let it thaw, replace the filter, and call us if it freezes again.

How much does AC repair or installation cost in Laredo?

It depends on the problem or the building: the size and type of system, its age, and the work involved. We explain what we find and quote the work before we start, so there are no surprises. Financing is available on new systems.

My AC just broke in Laredo. What should I do first?

Check three quick things: the thermostat is set to cool and has fresh batteries, the breaker for the AC hasn’t tripped, and the air filter isn’t clogged. If it still isn’t cooling, turn the system off and call us at (956) 436-3122. Tell us it’s urgent and what it’s doing, and we’ll get you scheduled as quickly as we can.

Is there an HVAC company near me in Laredo?

Yes. Laredo AC is a Laredo HVAC company focused on air conditioning, based at 1312 Houston Street, Suite 8, and serving Laredo, Zapata, Hebbronville, Freer, Cotulla, Encinal, Carrizo Springs and the rest of South Texas.

Should I repair or replace my AC?

It depends on the system’s age, how often it breaks down and what the repair costs against a new unit. Systems that still use R-22 refrigerant, which has been phased out, get expensive to keep running. We’ll give you an honest comparison, not a push toward the bigger invoice.

What size AC do I need?

AC capacity is measured in tons (one ton is 12,000 BTU per hour). The right size depends on the building — insulation, windows, sun exposure, ductwork and how the space is used — not square footage alone. Oversized and undersized systems both cool poorly and wear out early.

Do you work on commercial air conditioning?

Yes. Along with residential systems we install and service commercial air conditioning for businesses and small to mid-size buildings, including rooftop and packaged units. Tell us about your building and we’ll tell you plainly whether it’s a fit.

What is a mini split and when does it make sense?

A mini split is a ductless system with an outdoor unit and one or more indoor heads. It’s a strong fit for additions, garages, converted spaces, offices and any room that never got ductwork.

How often should my AC be serviced?

At least once a year, ideally before the summer heat arrives. A tune-up catches weak capacitors, dirty coils and low refrigerant before they leave you without cooling on the hottest day.

Do you offer financing?

Yes. We offer financing through Synchrony HOME with no interest if paid in full within 24 months, with approved credit. See our financing page or ask when you request service.
